62nd Annual Conference
Group Psychotherapy
Foundation Luncheon
Saturday, March 12
12:30 2: 15 P.M.
By popular demand, this year's
Group Psychotherapy Foundation luncheon entertainment brings back
psychologist/comedian Dr. Sandra Hutton. Sandra brought the
house down at our Los Angeles Conference in 2000 with Phantom
of the HMO, her original musical comedy starring some of our
most talented AGPA members.
This year Sandra will team up
with our own Dr. David Hawkins to present a brand new show entitled,
Way Off Broadway!, a music and comedy review, again
featuring Sandra and an all-AGPA cast. The show will feature
songs, parodies, sketch comedy, and some of Sandra's own stand-up
comedy.
Sandra Hutton has been in private
practice as a psychologist in the Atlanta area since 1974.
Starting in 1988, she began doing stand-up as a hobby, and soon
began working part-time as a professional comedian in comedy clubs
all around the southeast. Adding public speaking to her
repertoire, she was soon in demand by professional groups for her
hilarious and informative presentations and workshops on Humor
in Psychotherapy. Her musical comedy Phantom
of the HMO was staged in Montreal in 1997 for the American
Academy of Psychotherapists and again in Georgia for 2000 for the
Georgia Psychological Association. She was the winner of the
Atlanta Funny Bone's 1990 Summer Laff-Off.
This event is
included in the five-day Institute and Conference package or the three-day Conference
registration. |
