four years of group psychotherapy experience
Starting a group can be an exciting
and anxiety-provoking experience! Important steps to consider:
patient outreach and preparation, contract, and early group
predictable problems. Support for the leader, ways of handling
patient criticism, early dropouts and how to bolster one's sense of
ability in leading groups will be addressed.
