This presentation presents findings of a study utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodology, conducted through AGPA and funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation. The intervention comprised training parents and teachers to conduct play sessions with at-risk children to strengthen the relationship and enhance competencies of the parent, teacher and child.

 

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1. Specify risk and protective factors for children.

2. Identify the principles of filial therapy and kinder therapy in working with parents and teachers.

3. Discuss the practice implications of this research.
