The
Elaboration of Cognitive Meaning via Victor Frankl

This one hour
course is to increase the appreciation of psycho-educational
approaches to the treatment of apathy and depression in children and
young adults by drawing upon the philosophy of Victor Frankl, the
educational views of John Dewy and Benjamin Bloom, and the learning
and treatment benefits of a cooperative learning enactment to
facilitate successful communication, that is, learning by way of
effective listening.

The attendee will
be able to:
1. Distinguish
theorist's views of apathy/depression.
2. Integrate
psychological and educational treatments.
3. Conduct a
cooperative skills treatment of problem.
