Role Strain of Nurses Who Take Care of SARS Victims

Focus groups were held for collecting living experience of nurses who work with SARS clients. Staffs was affected not only by fear of contagion, but also by the ethical dilemma of self-care or taking care of the others. Stigmatization and calling were prominent themes for ethical practices.

1. Understand the role strain of nurses

2. Identify psychological impact and ethical practice in taking care the SARS victims.
