Multiple Family Therapy Group

This workshop will offer participants the theory, techniques, and usefulness of the Multiple Family Therapy Group (MFTG) technique.  Participants will experience being in a Multiple Family Therapy Group.  They will learn through lecture, experiential role play, and case sharing.

Didactic-demonstration-experiential-sharing of work experience

 

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1) Describe the steps that are involved in organizing an MFTG.

2) Plan an MFTG that they would envision creating in their practice or agency.

3) Analyze the leader's important role in leading an MFTG.

4) Understand the technique of weaving together the themes from one family to another.
