A focus on Caring for the Caregivers is among AGPA's Best Group Practice Disaster Protocols developed post 9/11.  In a peer-focused environment, we will share our work experiences with disaster, trauma, and loss in a climate of global uncertainty.  Together we will also explore and reinforce our resourcefulness and resiliency.

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1. Identify cumulative stress responses experienced by disaster relief providers.

2. Describe restorative experiences in a supportive/expressive group.

3. Discuss the curative power of group.
