Theatre: Bridging the Differences Internally and Externally

Participants will learn the
theory and practice of RoundTable Theatre (RTT), an improvisational
modality, in healing the internal gaps between spontaneity and
discipline, inner child and inner adult, intuition and rationality,
the unknown and the certain; and the external gap between self and
other through improvisational community-building.

Learning
Objectives:
The attendee will be able to:
1. Understand the general theory
of RTT.
2. Identify the particular ways
that improvisation can heal splits within the self and between the
self and other.
3. Choose specific improvisation
exercises for bridging particular divisions.
4. Demonstrate how to develop
profound group cohesion through improvisation and play.
