A Life
in Transition: What Can We Learn From the Caterpillar?
Chair:
Bruce Bernstein,
Ph.D., ABPP, FAGPA,
Private Practice,
Massachusetts
Transitions can
provide us with opportunities for personal growth, but there are
hazards on the road. We will look at the many dimensions of change,
focusing more on the inner and underlying processes of transition
than on specific life changes, and distinguishing between change,
transformation, and transition. We'll consider transition as a three
part process: letting go of an old situation; staying present in the
amorphous in-between; and sailing forth into the new.
