Interpersonal Gestalt

Workshop
participants will learn a variety of techniques from Gestalt
therapy, Psychodrama and Encounter which will help them build skills
of direct communication. Remaining in the here-and-now, revealing
statements behind questions are among the guidelines which will
promote an intense and immediate group experience.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Identify the
stages of group development and learn to use appropriate
interventions at each stage.
2. Utilize
confrontation in group therapy without encouraging scapegoating
behavior.
3. Integrate
techniques for enhancing self-awareness and honest communication in
groups.
