Integrating Individual and Group Psychotherapies: Bridging the Gap with EMDR

This workshop will present an overview of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and discuss its usefulness as an adjunct individual treatment in a successful group practice.  Videotaped segments of actual EMDR sessions will be viewed and participants will be invited to participate in brief demonstrations.

The attendee will be able to:

1. Discuss evidence for the efficacy of EMDR.

2. Identify appropriate EMDR targets from group process.

3. List resources for further inquiry.
