Jungian Approaches to Group Psychotherapy

This workshop will explore Jungian approaches to working with analytically-oriented psychotherapy groups.  Through a combination of didactic, experiential, and question and answer formats, the presenters will demonstrate important Jungian concepts as they apply to depth work in group psychotherapy.  We will address Jungian approaches to transference, dream interpretation, and symbolic consciousness in groups.

The attendee will be able to:

1. Utilize a Jungian approach to transference in group interventions.

2. Interpret dreams using Jungian concepts.

3. Integrate a symbolic approach in group psychotherapeutic interventions.
