Training in
psychotherapies of all stripes for psychiatrists has undergone many
vicissitudes in recent years. The "Decade of the Brain" shifted the
training emphasis so far toward the biological that we are only now
recovering. But what are the future prospects for producing
psychiatrists adept across the Meyerian biopsychosocial continuum?
Group therapy has an important place in this process.
