Being direct with one's feelings
towards another is something most of us shy away from. By encouraging members to
be direct, to share their feelings towards
one another and the leader, we begin to see how they become uncomfortable and shy away from
contact. We are then able to intervene.

The attendee will be able to:
1. Identify when members avoid emotional contact.
2. Describe ways members resist being direct to others.
3. Prepare members to be more open to communicating affect.
