This workshop explores improvisational acting;  a tool which enhances the ability to play, thus engage in new paradigms of behavior and perception in a safe environment.  It looks at the theoretical base for this format, discusses its use to the therapist and the application of the treatment principles involved.  A brief didactic presentation will be followed by the opportunity to experience improvisational acting under the guidance of an experienced director.  Comfortable clothing is recommended since participants will be physically active during the workshop.
