Group Work with Executives
in Pharma and Health Care Organizations
Chair:
Paul Cox, M.D., CGP,
Associate Professor, UC Davis School of Medicine, Sacramento,
California
Presenter:
Janet S.
Steinwedel, Ph.D.,
President, Leader's Insight, Wilmington,
Delaware
With plenty of
passion, politics and power in Corporate America, Dr. Steinwedel has
carved out a niche in group work which includes navigating through
these "P's" in order to develop authentic leadership among
participants. The process includes naming experiences, challenging
ego and acknowledging self-deception. In monthly meetings over 6-9
months, articles, books and experiences are used to stimulate
discussion. Dream work is an option where we use a technique that
ensures we own our own projections, thereby enabling powerful
insights for all from the experience.
Learning Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Understand how
group work can be effective within the Organizational context
2. Learn how to develop an appropriate syllabus and adjust based on
the group needs
3. Incorporate dream work successfully in group experience
