Using Forbidden Affects in Groups: The Leader's Desire and Aggression

Chair:

Andrew Eig, Ph.D., Faculty, The Derner Institute for Advanced Psychology, New York, New York

Avowing our desire and aggression as group leaders can be a difficult task. This workshop focuses on the therapist's transformation of these and other emotions into powerful interventions that deepen experience. After providing a theoretical background, participants will be encouraged to present vignettes from their own groups.
