Participants will observe live demonstration groups and learn about Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). Participants and panelists will discuss how different approaches to group therapy emphasize different mechanisms of healing.  By comparing and contrasting different schools of thought using IPNB, each participant will broaden his/her appreciation of unfamiliar approaches to group therapy.

 

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1. Review key aspects of IPNB that support the use of group therapy. 

2. Compare and contrast different approaches to group therapy.

3. Develop greater appreciation for unfamiliar approaches to group therapy.
