Chairs:

Cara Story Beames, M.A., LP, ABD, Private Practice, Psychologist/Psychotherapist, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Wendy Whelihan, Ph.D., Private Practice, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Participants will learn how to incorporate therapeutic interventions from the emerging interdisciplinary field of interpersonal neurobiology into group therapy.  This workshop has been designed to illustrate how an existing, long term psychotherapy group can be enhanced by adding a component of psychoeducation and an experiential approach to promote changes in neural circuitry leading toward personal transformation.
