Teams as a Community

Athletic teams
are subject to the expected internal forces of group life as well as
tremendous external forces. Collective mood and interpersonal mood
process present on-going challenges for coaches and team members.
This workshop will explore the use of group therapy techniques to
help athletic teams develop the ability to regulate affect which, in
turn, enhances the likelihood of successful performance.
