Using Group Processes in Retirement Transition Workshops

Open to participants with more than ten years of group psychotherapy experience.

 

This workshop will be focused on our 4-step cyclical model for addressing psychological and social issues in retirement and pre-retirement:  (a) Dream, (b) Review, (c) Plan, (d) Engage.  Information relevant to each cycle will be presented with opportunities for both large and small group interaction.

 

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1. Describe the 4-step process for psychological retirement planning taught in this workshop.

2. Review the model in relation to their own lives.

3. Apply what is meaningful from the model to their own work or personal situation.
