Building Strong Foundations for Secure Attachment

If you have ever remodeled an old house, you know lasting structural changes are possible.  Using group theory as a blueprint, this workshop considers the group and leader as architects in co-constructing secure attachments.  Group offers space for remodeling outdated attachment styles into healthy relationships with room for vitality and passion.

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1. Identify group members’ dominant attachment styles.

2. Explain how the group leader and group support building secure attachments.

3. Discuss how group members can renovate outdated relationship patterns.

4. Describe how vitality and passion support structural changes.
