Creating
Thriving Private Practice Psychotherapy Groups

This workshop
provides participants with knowledge crucial to creating thriving
private practice psychotherapy groups. We will extrapolate as needed
to diverse populations, settings, and theoretical modalities. Topics
include preparing the patient, selection, composition, third-party
considerations, problem patients, recordkeeping, co-therapy, the
contract (agreement), boundaries, electronic issues, and fee
considerations.

The attendee will be able to:
1. Create
effective group psychotherapy fee arrangements.
2. Prepare a
complete group psychotherapy contract (agreement).
3. Identify and
attend to boundary issues.
4. Demonstrate
his/her skills in preparing patients for group psychotherapy.
