The Over-Functioning Therapist: From Narcissistic Injury to Sustainable Selfcare TM

Attendees will examine unresolved narcissistic issues affecting their clinical efficacy and personal lives. We will explore the history of narcissism and discuss narcissistic over-functioning and other boundary crossings in the context of therapist self-care. Implementing our new model of Sustainable Selfcare TM, we will construct therapists' options for healing and balance.

The attendee will be able to:

1. Identify narcissism in the therapist.

2. Utilize the concept of Sustainable Selfcare TM.

3. Track and apply the etiology of over-functioning to self and patients.

4. Integrate demonstrated tools for Sustainable Selfcare TM in personal and therapeutic work.
