Group
Therapy for Schizophrenic Patients

Strategies for
treating schizophrenic patients in therapy groups will be discussed
using an integrative approach. A brief literature review, support
from the leader's research, and clinical vignettes and
demonstrations will be presented. Participants will be encouraged
to share their experiences.

1. Discuss the
effectiveness of group therapy for schizophrenic patients.
2. Describe
clinical strategies for leading such groups.
3. Conduct
such groups in his or her treatment setting.
